Beza Lehiwot Development Organization (BeLDO): A History of Empowerment and Resilience

Founded: Beza Lehiwot Development Organization (BeLDO) is a civil society organization (CSO) established in accordance with the Civil Society Organizations proclamation No. 1113/2019, it registered as Local Organization on November 30, 2023, with registry number 7064 to respond to development and humanitarian gaps and to address the needy population in the country.

Location: Ethiopia, Amhara Regional State, Bahir dar City

Recent Initiatives and Impact: Beza Lehiwot Development Organization (BeLDO) resumes a project entitled “Social-economic Development of youth, children and women””. The overall objective of this project is to create an enabling environment for the youth and children and women of in Bahir dar and Gondar Cities in Amhara National Regional State of Ethiopia. Hence that they can be self – dependent, contribute to the development of the area and be an active participant in development effort of the region.  And also  to inculcate entrepreneurial skills in the youth, to make youth self-employed, and initiate the youth to be engaged in, small business (micro-credit revolving fund), vocational skills training and other similar innovative and creative projects.
